If you're listening after 22, A Million, you might need to temper your expectations a litttle. Each of Bon Iver's albums have had a strong personality, and this one just feels like it's coasting on the remnants of 22's personality. Basically, this is not Bon Iver's best. That said, as I'm sure we all know, this isn't saying much. This is still very much a satisfying album in its own right, and one that any musician should be proud to attach their name to.
